Kinesis Survey Technologies, LLC was founded in June 2003 in order to capitalize
on wireless technology for filling in critical technology gaps within the market
research industry. Since that time, the company has been at the forefront of exploration
and innovation in wireless market research. Its cameraphone ethnographies
are unique in the industry. Kinesis Survey is considered the de facto solution
for wireless ad testing, as well as many other types of browser-based research on
wireless devices. At the same time, the company recognized that web surveys would
continue to dominate the landscape for many years, and designed a solution that
provided a transitional path to the future, leading to the establishment of the
world's first multi-lingual, multi-mode solution for web and wireless.
Since 2005, Kinesis has licensed its solution to the market research industry and
to enterprise clients, launching Kinesis Survey™ as an ASP solution as well as dedicated
server/self-hosting options. In 2006 it introduced an accompanying product,
Kinesis Panel™ and Kinesis Panelist Portal. These products continue to advance Kinesis
Survey Technologies' strength in the wireless industry by providing the first fully integrated
web/wireless panel management solution. The company also provides services to integrate
to third-party and in-house solutions and has expanded its products and services
to provide a global solution.
