SENIOR PHP / MYSQL DEVELOPER
Location: Austin, TX
Qualifications:
- 5+ years database programming (MySQL preferred)
- 5+ years PHP/Perl experience building interactive web applications
- 5+ years of Linux system administration
- Experience designing and optimizing transactional MySQL-databases in prior positions for speed
- Good understanding of object oriented programming
- Good understanding of Linux operating system (Redhat Enterprise Linux)
- Fluent knowledge in HTML and Javascript including DOM & Ajax.
The following will be considered as a plus:
- Prior experience with SOAP and XML
- Photoshop and image processing/manipulation
- Understanding of statistical method and calculations
- Prior knowledge of market research industry and methodologies
- J2ME and/or understanding of mobile technologies such as xHTML mobile and WML.
- C-programming skills in Linux
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or Computer Engineering

DIRECTOR OF SALES
Location: Negotiable
This candidate will sell sophisticated software packages to the market research community.
The candidate must possess a solid base of established contacts within the market research community, a high comfort level with new technologies, and experience in a consultative/complex sales environment.
The Director of Sales will be responsible identifying and qualifying opportunities, developing detailed and customized proposals based upon client needs, growing a customer base, closing sales, and growing existing accounts through ongoing communication with the client on a year-to-year basis. Applicants must be experienced in selling to large full-service research organizations and/or research departments within Fortune 1000 organizations. Applicants must show a demonstrated ability to deliver to negotiated quotas. Candidates will be also be required to demonstrate an ability to work closely with other team members to assure customer satisfaction is achieved.
This position will be based in the Northeast and/or Chicago area.
Qualifications:
5+ years sales experience selling market research systems or services, preferably with survey or panel management software solutions. Strong prospecting/closing skills. Proven history sales quota achievement. Excellent written/verbal communication and negotiation skills.
